Louis was a welder by trade and was always willing to fix my chairs or whatever might be broken. Back in the 70"s he started making flowers, crosses, owls, and other items. He made his designs by cutting out pieces of metal from cans and welding them together. He gave me a flower and my friends ask me if Louis would make one for them and they would pay him. So for a few months my roommate and I would give Louis a list and the money for what our friends had ordered. I say for a few months, because being the artist he was, Louis, did not want to make a certain item over and over. His niece Rita
