A memorial service to honor his life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Knob Hill Baptist Church.

John Larry Greear went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the age of 63. The son of Elmer Ray and Sarah Lucile (Fox) Greear, John was born April 3, 1954 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He graduated from Western Heights High School in 1972. On November 1, 1980, John married the love of his life, Rebecca Sue Bruce and together shared nearly 37 years of marriage. He worked for the International Paper Company for more than 21 years before going to work for Clampitt Paper Company where he was currently working as a sales representative. In his spare time, John enjoyed swimming and gardening. With a heart for the Lord, John enjoyed worshipping and fellowshipping at Knob Hill Baptist Church for many years. John was known for his kindness and will be remembered for his willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed each day.

John was preceded in death by his:
Parents.

John leaves cherished memories with his loving:
Wife of nearly 37 years, Rebecca Sue Greear;
Sister, Cheryl Coleman and her husband, Rick;
Brother, Harold Greear and his wife, Barbara;
Brother, Ron Greear and his wife, Marilyn;
Many other loving family and friends.
