Dolores Jane Blackburn went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the age of 88. The daughter of Johnnie and Stella (Duke) Gilreath, Dolores was born September 15, 1929 in Bowlegs, Oklahoma. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a dedicated follower of Christ. Dolores was a faithful member of Southwest Church of Christ and loved spending time in the Word, Phillipians 4:13 was her favorite verse. Dolores retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 25 years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her yard, caring for her flowers, loved listening to records and enjoyed traveling. Dolores would want to be remembered for loving her family and her Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed.
Dolores was preceded in death by her:
Parents;
Son, Argle Lee Blackburn, Jr;
Former husband and father of her children, Argle Lee Blackburn, Sr;
Son-in-law, Russell Wattie.
Dolores leaves behind her loving:
Daughter, Linda Wattie;
Three Granddaughters, Michelle D. Langston, Shannon P. Wattie and Natalie L. Gehring ;
Three Great Grandsons, Russell J. Langston, Harrison D. Langston and Liam R. Gehring.
