Jewell Mae (Caldwell) Long was born in Maysville, Oklahoma on December 12, 1925, to Conner and Ellen Caldwell. She passed from this life to her eternal rest the morning of February 19, 2018, in Oklahoma City. Jewell graduated from Lexington High School. Long II and wife, Marilyn, of Oklahoma City, John Long and wife, Alejandra, of Houston, and Kathryn Long, also of Houston.

Jewell was a dedicated homemaker and mother, and was a support to her husband’s home-building business throughout their married life. She loved to sing, enjoyed family gatherings, and shared her beautiful smile with all. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

Along with her children, she is survived by one sister, Edith Bean, of Brownfield, Texas, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.
