Tori

Sara Ann Rhodes was the greatest grandmother, period! Her huge loving heart, quick wit, adoration for all things chocolate and belief that "blood is thicker than water” are just a few of the many things I loved about her. She was a "one of a kind" and I feel blessed to have called her my Nanny. Lucky, lucky, lucky me. For 43 years I had the good fortune to marvel at her amazing strengths. Nanny’s forgiving heart & resiliency were two of her strongest assets. I learned from the master how to tackle life by memorizing her mantra..."It is not what happens to you, but how you choose to handle what happens to you." Sage advice from a woman wise beyond her years. All of her little "life advice" nuggets were priceless & have served me and countless others well. Being the eldest grandchild we shared a very special bond & always ended our long conversations with the saying "my cup runneth over." Today & always my cup will overflow with the love I have in my heart. My promise is to make certain that all the generations to come know how amazing you were. I will continue to thank God daily for the gifts you have given me & for blessing me with you. Boompsie, I love you to the moon & back. With much love, Tori Witherspoon (Eldest Grandchild) Dallas, TX
