Gwen passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the age of 88. She was born April 29, 1924 in Eldorado, OK. She was retired from the OKC Public Schools where she was the secretary for Westwood Elementary School. She loved children, though she had none of her own. She was a member of the Redlands Council of Girl Scouts for over 35 yrs, where she was a Girl Scout leader, where she enjoyed camping at Camp Red Rock. She was a long time member of South Lee United Methodist Church, serving her church in several capacities, but more so as a children’s Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.D. & Beatrice (Dorman) Hager. She is survived by her sister, Judy Mears of OKC; her nieces, Debbie Rowland of OKC, Diana Ross (Greg) of OKC, and Dana Mears of Enid, OK; nephew, Doug Mears (Kathy) of Bethany, OK; 5 great nieces & nephews; and 3 great great nieces & nephews were her children & the apple of her eye.
