James Donald McCarron age 64 passed away peacefully on Sunday July 10, 2016, after a short battle with cancer. He was born Sept. 20, 1951 in Rome NY to Donald G. & Dorothy J. McCarron He graduated from US Grant High School class of 1969. He served with the US Army in the 7th Psychological Operations Group Okinawa. 1970 -1972. Jimmy earned a degree in Corrections at Oklahoma City Community College, May 1980. He retired after 33 years from the Federal Aviation Administration. Where he served several years as president of the AFGE @FAA and was also a past board member with the FAA Employee Credit Union. Jimmy was preceded in death by his Mother, Dorothy Settle and his sister Susie Baumann. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Petra McCarron of Kansas. His father Don McCarron of Enid. A daughter Christine Carol McCarron and a son Toby Don McCarron both of OKC. Four grandsons Austin & Brady Bateman, Christian & Colby McCarron, a granddaughter Sage McCarron, and a great grandson Cooper Don Bateman. Also two step sons and a step daughter. Jimmy was a people person, he was always fun loving and will be sorely missed by all of us.
