Obituary for Karen Faye Truelove (Daley)

Viewing will be 4-8 PM Thurs. July 28, 2016 with the family greeting friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.


Services to celebrate her life will be held 10 A. M. Fri., July 29, 2016 at the South Lakes Chapel, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.


Karen, 75, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord & Savior on July 25, 2016. Karen was born in Oklahoma City to Bert & Jewell Daley. Shortly before graduating from Southeast High School, Karen married the love of her life, Otis Truelove, on Nov. 9, 1957. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter and 3 sons. Karen loved her bowling league & friends at Holiday Lanes, bingo, & tending her flower gardens. She had a true servant’s heart & was happiest when she was loving & caring for others. She was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Lucretia Renee, who lived 36 hours; sisters & their husbands: Sharron & Kermit Tabor & Sherrill & Edward Gene Evett; and infant brother Raymond Daley. She leaves behind her husband of 59 years Otis; sons Ron Truelove & wife Mikia, Rickey Truelove & wife Bonnie, Reggie Truelove & wife JoDon; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; & many other beloved family & friends
