The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carolun Teeter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Viewing will be 4-8 PM Thursday August 18th at Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes.


Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday August 19, 2016 at Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes (4000 SW 119th st.)


Carolyne, 73, was born Nov. 21, 1942 in Holdenville, OK to E.V. Harwell & Billie K. (Roberson) Harwell. After graduating from Southeast H.S. she remained in OKC where she met the love of her life Arden Teeter, and they wed April 1, 1962. She provided a warm & loving home for her family by working as a realtor, most recently for Metro First realtor group in Edmond. She enjoyed working with first time home buyers, and helping them find their dream home. Carolyne loved spending time with her family, & working in her garden. She found comfort in her faith, gave her heart to the Lord & was baptized in May of this year. She was a loving wife, mother, sister & friend who will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Arden Teeter, parents: E.V. Harwell, Billie Harwell, & step-mother Dora Harwell; Sister Linda Harwell; & niece Amy Lynn Russell. Carolyne leaves cherished memories with her son, Mark Allen Teeter of Norman, OK; brothers Steve Harwell & wife Diana; & Tom Russell & wife Audrey; Nieces: Tavia Vasicek & Kimberly Steele; nephews; William Teeter & Chase Harwell, and many other dear cousins, & friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers from Crosssroads Hospice & the staff from Meadowlake Estates. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
