Mike was born in Oklahoma City to Herman & Thelma Shropshire. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1962. He was a USPS mail carrier over 33 years. After retirement he worked for National Loan Investors. Now that Mike is gone he will be missed deeply but his memory will live on though his family, his fellow retired postal workers at their weekly Gerald's Donuts meetings, & the countless friends he made over the years through bowling, golf & OKC Blazers Hockey. Mike was preceded in death by his parents & son, David. Mike is survived by: his wife, Jan of the home, daughter, Stacy Morrow & husband Paul; Son, Todd Shropshire & wife Stephanie; Sister, Marilyn Smith and husband, Jim; Grandchildren, Keegan, Jessie, Riley, & Brianne Morrow; Kylie, Ashlyn, Jackson & Dustin Shropshire. Memorial Services will be 11AM Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Southern Hills Baptist Church 8601 S. Penn in OKC.
