Olive Fern (Wells) Lawson went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the age of 93. The daughter of Coriene Anna (Foote) and George Nathan Wells, Olive was born on March 26, 1923 in Taloga, Oklahoma. Olive married the love of her life, William Stanley Lawson, Sr. on September 9, 1938. Together they shared more than 46 years of marriage and raising a family. This union of marriage was blessed with five children. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated homemaker, Olive continued to share her love and nurturing compassion by working in the nursery and admitting at Children’s Hospital for many years. Olive had the sweetest spirit, the biggest heart and always put the needs of others before her own. She enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends. Olive shared unconditional love and compassion for everyone. She was always there to nurture and care for any and every one that came to her. She left a tremendous legacy that will continue to live on in our hearts.
