Fred was called home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2016, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 75. He was born to Luther & Joyce (Wallace) Chambers on August 14, 1941 in Binger, OK, along with two sisters & three brothers. After graduation from Eakly H.S., Fred proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. In the 60’s Fred & his brother moved to Seminole, OK to work construction, and later relocated to Oklahoma City, where they started Chambers Excavation Company. On August 6, 1986 Fred married Sandra “Sandy” Daugherty, & together they made over 30 years of memories. Fred loved working & providing for his family, but also enjoyed traveling. He and Sandy frequently vacationed to Florida together, & it was their home away from home. Fred had another passion, that was flying his airplane. If he wasn’t working, he was piloting his Twin Comanche, & enjoying the freedom of flight. He was a loving husband, father, & grandfather who will be in our hearts forever.
