Maurine Dickson passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2017 at the age of 88. Maurine was born on July 1, 1928 to her parents, G.A. and Maudie Anderson in Paoli, Oklahoma. Maurine Anderson married Burvle Howard in 1946 and enjoyed 62 years of marriage. Following Burvle’s death, Maurine married Norris Dickson in 2008. Maurine was a dedicated member of Knob Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and a talented seamstress. She retired from working at the Oklahoma State Capitol. She will be deeply missed.
Maurine was preceded in death by her:
Parents,
Brothers and a sister;
First husband, Burvle Howard;
Sons, Homer Green Howard and Wesley Gene Howard.
Maurine leaves cherished memories with her loving family:
Husband, Norris Dickson;
Granddaughter, Kristin Howard;
Grandsons: Homer Howard, Stephan Howard, Nikkolas Howard, Derek Howard;
Daughter-in-law, Stella Howard;
5 great grandchildren.
Maurine also leaves cherished memories with Norris’ family:
Dale and Betty Dickson, Keith and Debbie Dickson, James and Teresa Dickson;
6 grandchildren;
3 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Integris Baptist Hospital for their compassionate care.
