Life is for fun!

Bill and I lived only 100 yards apart. He west of Shartel st., I lived east of Shartel. We thought we "owned" the neighborhood. We drove our go carts at will on the side streets for years there. No neighbor complaints or other issues. There was never a problem or complaints from neighbors. We were just kids having fun. For several years we ran amok on our bikes there. Bill was nearly a year older than I. We had no boundaries. Neighborhoods were safe then. I left Oklahoma soon after graduating HS. I only saw Bill in person twice after that. All that remains are the memories. They are good memories. The care free days of youth are no more. I came back to Oklahoma after retirement. It doesn't seem right that Bill is gone. I do miss you, dear friend. The memories endure. I'm thankful for the good Times we shared together. Perhaps we'll meet again old friend. Dwayne Yelton 4-1-2021
