Gary Goodner
My prayers are with your family as you celebrate her life with all the people she touched with her kindness and sense of humor. She always opened her home to me. But more important was the love she showed to her family and friends. What a wonderful person Gae was.
Rudyard Kipling once said, "God couldn't be everywhere, so he made mothers."
Gae was the embodiment of that quote.
She was a rare combination of Erma Bombeck and Mother Teresa, which is a great, but unique mix.
I'll always have fond memories of her and her family. As I pray for you, please know that God is now smiling at Gae and saying, "Well done my servant, Gae." While she replies to Him, "Please call me Weenie."
