It really is hard to believe James is gone. From the first time we saw him when he came into our store for an job we immediately knew he was special.
Always fun of energy and love for life. There was never a dull moment when he was around. Even after his injury and he started coming back in the shop to visit us he was still full of life and of course jokes. I loved talking to him about everything. I probably ask to many questions but James never seemed to mind. James lived a beautiful life with you guys. He was happy and loved very much. I don't think I have been to any funeral like James' was. Holly you were so brave. I know James was listening to you and smiling that big smile of his. Condolence: Holly and boys, I am so very sorry for your loss. It saddens me to know a great one is gone. James was larger then life with a personality to mach. As I was reading the obituary and remembering the times I was caring for him I could only smile. His attitude toward life was such an inspiration. He will be greatly missed.

James was incredible person! He was a fighter. I will always remember him sitting on his boat at Lake Murray. He was a great role model for his sons and others to keep fighting and moving forward.

Condolence: God allowed me to spend the last 7 months caring for James and getting to help him enjoy life, he has left an impact on me that I never imagined possible he was such an inspiration to be around. Not one day went by that he wouldn't shake his head and let me know how crazy I truly am.. he will truly be missed...my heart goes out to the entire family, I'm always a phone call away if you ever need me

Condolence: God gave me the privilege of working with James and for that I'm ever grateful. During those few short months we made incredible memories laughing and crying together. Believe it or not I miss watching our morning line up of news, Andy Griffith, Jerry Springer, Steve Wilkos, and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
