Jennifer Leigh Girod Howe went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19, 2016 at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was 43 years old. Jennifer was born May 16, 1973 at South Community Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to her parents, Royce Dean and Gertrude Genevieve (Tully) Girod. Jennifer attended Grace Christian Academy and Mount Saint Mary High School. Jennifer, affectionately nicknamed “Jiffy”, was an avid reader and spent many hours as a child reading books in her room. Her first grade teacher characterized her as “a joy and a pleasure.” After graduation, she worked at several different jobs and later received a CNA certificate but did not pursue that work for very long. Health problems affected her later years and hampered her creative spirit.
