The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Vickie Bryan

I've known Ginny Girod for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite memories of her is when she and Regina were cracking up laughing in the bedroom, hitting the top of the bed with their hands and laughing more. (They always were come to think of it.) This time though, the laughter was louder than usual. I went in and asked them what was so funny. They could hardly answer they were laughing so hard. They held up my U.S. Grant 1967 Yearbook and broke up laughing again. Through more laughing they explained that our hairdos were hilarious. Now keep in mind this was in the day when they permed their hair, moussed it using a whole can of mousse and scrunched it til it screamed. We use to call it "mall hair" it was so tall. I told them that day when they looked back at their pictures they would laugh even harder because their hairstyles were much worse than ours. They didn't believe me then, but I think they do now.
