Raymond Leo McDowell went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the age of 92. The son of William Bryon and Viola Anna McDowell, Raymond was born January 14, 1924 in Boyle, Kansas. After graduating from high school, Raymond honorably served his country in the United States Army. During World War II, Raymond bravely fought during the European Campaign as a tank gunner. On June 12, 1943 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Raymond married his sweetheart, Betty Belle Williams and together shared more than 73 years of marriage and raising a family.
