The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gene Marshall can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

My father's best friend from OU

My father was Ernest Wayne Jennings, My mother is Billie Ruth Jennings and Gene Marshall was in their wedding. I think that Gene is on the far left, back row and the man in the middle is Roy Seikel. I also sent a photo of my father on the left and I think that Gene Marshall in on the right. My parents were married at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church , October 29, 1944, where they met. When I was married in 1969 Gene and his wife sent me some hand painted plates which I still have. I lost my dad October 19, 2006,I was devastated...He was the greatest man that I ever knew, I am still taking care of my mother who is 95 on their 2000 AC ranch in Southeast Kansas. My father was buried at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.I am sorry for your lost and feel bad that I did not contact them when my Dad passed but it was sudden, and I was a basket case. He was extremely healthy and had a stroke.
